1. Scope of the Terms
These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases made on https://doversolution.com. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by the terms set forth herein. These terms are governed by the laws of Hungary, particularly:
The Hungarian Civil Code (Act V of 2013)
Government Decree 45/2014. (II.26.) on the detailed rules of distance contracts
2. Products and Services
We manufacture and sell DoverCheck hardware, designed to assist retail stores in verifying the age of customers when purchasing age-restricted items.
We also provide the DoverCheck mobile application, available on the Google Play Store, which is used to operate the hardware.
3. Ordering Process
Select the product on our website and add it to your cart
Proceed to checkout and provide billing/shipping details
Choose your payment method and complete the order
Receive an order confirmation via email
We will notify you once the product is shipped
4. Prices and Payment
All prices are in HUF and include VAT.
Accepted payment methods:
Credit/debit card (via Stripe or Barion)
Bank transfer
Cash on delivery
Invoices are issued digitally and sent via email.
5. Shipping & Delivery
Shipping is available within Hungary and the EU.
Estimated delivery time: 2–5 working days within Hungary.
Shipping costs are calculated during checkout.
Delivery Options:
In accordance with the government decree on postal services, we offer shipping via Magyar Posta Zrt. (Hungarian Postal Service). Pricing is regulated as follows:
Delivery to parcel locker, Posta Point, or post office: HUF 990 (gross)
Home delivery (0–10 kg): HUF 1,990 (gross)
Home delivery (10–20 kg): HUF 2,990 (gross)
Home delivery (20–40 kg): HUF 5,990 (gross)
Additional logistics fee: For deliveries via Magyar Posta, a logistics fee of HUF 3,000 (gross) applies on top of the shipping cost.
6. Right of Withdrawal
Under Government Decree 45/2014. (II.26.), you may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of delivery, without providing a reason.
To exercise this right:

Return the product within 14 days of your withdrawal notice
Important Notes:
You are liable for any diminished value from handling beyond necessary inspection
Return in original packaging is recommended, but not required
Refunds (including shipping) are issued within 14 days
We may withhold the refund until we receive the product or proof of return
Return shipping is paid by the buyer (unless the product is defective)
7. Warranty and Liability
Our hardware is covered by mandatory warranty periods as defined in Gov. Decree 93/2024. (IV.23.):

Improper use
Unauthorized modifications
External damage after delivery (unless proven otherwise)
8. Software Licensing (App)
The DoverCheck Android app is free and intended solely for use with authorized DoverCheck hardware.
You may not:
Reverse-engineer
Modify
Redistribute the app
We retain all intellectual property rights over the application.

10. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for:
Loss of data or profits due to user misuse or negligence
Fines arising from improper use of the age-verification system
Delays beyond our control (e.g., courier delays, force majeure)
However, we cannot exclude liability for:
Personal injury or death
Damages resulting from intentional misconduct or gross negligence
